You know the old saying: "Fall back, spring forward." Well, it's almost time to spring forward.
This year, we move the clocks forward on Sunday, March 11. If you have any devices left that still do not reset themselves, remember to move those clocks ahead one hour before going to bed on Saturday.
Officially, Daylight Saving Time begins 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Yes, moving the clocks ahead does mean we all lose an hour of sleep, but in return it will be light later in the day. Besides, the lost hour falls on Saturday night, so just sleep in a bit on Sunday before getting up and starting the day.
Most battery-operated smoke alarms chirp when the battery gets weak and it always seems to happen in the middle of the night, doesn't it? Avoid that by using the time change as your reminder to test the strength of the batteries and replace them when you change your clocks.
Been procrastinating getting your taxes ready? Let us help you spring forward and get them filed! Give us a call today.
Best wishes for a great spring!
